MMA Big Show: PUNISHMENT Sept 29th, Madison Theater, Cov KY

September 29th, 2007, Madison Theater, Covington, KY. MMA Big Show: Punishment.
On September 29th, at 7pm the first fight of MMA Big Show: Punishment will commence leaving spectators in awe. There isn’t a bad seat in the house at the 1,500 seat Madison Theater on Madison Ave. in Covington, KY.
This event is scheduled to have 20 to 24 fighters coming from all over North America to compete.
Challenger Roger Bowling will go toe to toe with current MMA Big Show 170lb Champion Keith Smetana.
Roger defeated Chris Runge in devestating fashion by TKO (Strikes) at June 23rds Domination at the Gardens and Keith Smetana beat Levi Adams by controversial referee stoppage due to an arm bar. Roger wants the belt and Keith is ready to defend it.

Billy “Mojo” Horne will go up against Fernando Rivera for the 185lb Championship belt.

Billy Horne was supposed to fight Brandon Hunt at DOMINATION on June 23rd but his opponent pulled out of the fight at the last minute for no known reason. Fernando Rivera was also supposed to compete at DOMINATION but his opponent didn’t make weight and the fight wasn’t approved by the commission. Now the two fighters are eager to go head to head and Rivera is dropping from 205 to 185 for the chance to fight Mojo whom he feels is an honor knowing Mojos reputation in MMA as being no pushover for anyone.

You will also see Dustin Winterhalt competing against MMA Big Show two time winner Anthony DeRome who has his eyes set on the 170 belt. DeRome is currently undefeated as a 3-0 Pro and Winterhalt is set to make his pro debut but called DeRome out based on DeRomes reputation for talking a bit too much. This will be an interesting fight.

Levi Adams who lost to Keith Smetana at Domination will be working towards his comeback against Justin Zaczek.

There are 16 fights on this fight card scheduled.  7 Amateur fights and 9 Professional fights. It will be an action packed evening.

Tickets are on sale now and are $25 Pre Sale for General Admission, ($30 day of event) and $50 for VIP Seating. DOMINATION will be taped and aired locally on channels 25 and 38 and on Fox Sports Net Ohio to a total over 6 million homes. By the time editing is done on DOMINATION MMA Big Show, LLC is hopeful of having their national TV deal complete that will increase their TV reach by 60 million homes nationally.

Also on the fight card will be Dennis Davis, a UFC hopeful who will be going up against Fred Leavy in efforts to bump up his notoriety that should enable him to make his UFC debut in the coming months, if he can beat Leavy.

Hometown Champion Mojo Horne, the winner of RESPECT’s Main Event fight with Roger Bowling will be competing for the 185 MMA Big Show Championship Belt and Levi Adams of Team Jorge Gurgel known for taking out the very aggressive Joe Ammerman by submission in RESPECT will be going for the 170lb Championship Belt, both making their Pro Debuts in DOMINATION.
